Objectives

•The
Vocational Training Centre was established to achieve the concept
and objectives of human resources development, and to conserve
national water resources.
-
Provide specialized technical training programs to
improve technical efficiency of people working in water projects
from both the public and the private sector .
-
Provide managerial and supervisory training programs
for people with supervisory and managerial positions, in the various
departments and directorates of WAJ.
-
provide training opportunities in training methods
for the trainers and staff of the Center.
-
Organize activities related to human resources
development.

Produce audiovisual aids material such as slides
transparencies.
Policy

•Define
training needs: these represent the basic inputs of the
training system, and are established by defining the
training topics, defining and analyzing skills to be
developed in individuals.

Training activities: these are the different
types of efforts and processes aimed to satisfy the training
needs of the programs.
-
Training Result : these are reflected in the
changed level of performance and efficiency of trainees and
represent the training outputs.
-
Feedback : feedback reflects how efficient
the training outputs are and helps to assess the training
system in general.
Functions
Expectations
Among the H.R.D&Centers most important
expectations and
ambitions:
-
nExpansion
of the training programs to include the behavior level
in addition to the technical and supervisory to include
participants from the private sector and countries
around.

Expansion in the
area of reformative and developmental studies for the
different aspects of work within WAJ, in order to
pinpoint problems and suggest the appropriate actions
for improved performance.

Development of
means of cooperation with the competent authorities to
benefit from the available expertise in the field of
training ,on the local ,Arab, and
international levels.
