Moving the Water Meter from one place to another on same piece of land

Documents Required:

1.        Water bill.

2.        ID document.

Fees:
1- Fee of meter moving: JD 5

Venue of Service Delivery:

Offices of departments and directorates in governorates and LEMA offices in the Capital.

Average time required:

3-4 days.

Procedures:

1.        Fill in an application form (meter moving) by the competent employee.

2.        Issue a statement of full settlement of water fees.

3.        Refer the application to the Inspection Controller.

4.        The Controller inspects the venue of the meter and fills in the required form providing his recommendations and soliciting the approval of the Head of the Design and Supervision Division to implement the moving process.

5.        Pay the required fees.

6.        Refer the file to the fixture unit in order to implement the moving process.
