Issuance of a License for a Digging
Machine
Required Documents:
1.
Customs declarations or
a selling contract for the digging machine.
2.
A bank guarantee
according to the type of the digger.
3.
JD 3000 if it is a
hammer digger
4.
JD 10000 if it is a
rotating digger
5.
JD 1500 a guarantee for
companies owning more than one digger
Fees:
JD 100 being the fees for licensing a digger

Procedures:
1.
Submit an application to
license the digging machine and have the concerned person fill in a form to show
information of the digging machine to be licensed.
2.
Register the application
file and refer it to the Digging Director and then to the Head of the Division
of Digging Operations.
3.
Form a Committee by the
Head of the Division of Digging Operations in order to verify the technical
status of the digging machine and its capacity of work.
4.
The Committee sets a
date for inspection in coordination with the digging machine owner depending on
the site where the digging machine is found.
5.
Upon implementing the
inspection by the Committee, a recommendation to the effect of either accepting
or rejecting the application is issued and then referred to the Head of the
Division and the Director of Digging Works.
6.
In case of approval, the
application file is referred to the Chief Bureau of the Directorate to set the
fees required for licensing.
7.
The concerned person in
referred to the Cashier to pay the required fees.
8.
The License of Digging
Machine is drafted at the Directorate Chief Bureau and signed by the Director of
the Directorate and then by the Secretary General.
